IRC Developer Meetings

GeoServer has IRC meetings on an approximately weekly basis, on Tuesdays. Everyone is welcome to attend, but the meetings are targeted for developers.

New: The meeting time is 12:00 PM Eastern Time. The UTC time changes in accordance with the US/Canadian Daylight Saving Time.

Standard time: 17:00 UTC
Daylight Saving Time: 16:00 UTC

Meetings last approximately one hour. If you cannot attend the entire meeting, please attend for the first 10 minutes so everyone can be updated on your progress.

Step-by-step:

Open your IRC client
Type: /attach freenode
Wait for it to connect
Type: /join #geoserver

For the time being, the format of the meetings will go as follows:

(5 mins) Agenda items are proposed
(5 mins) Each person will say what they worked on the previous week and what they are working on this week
(20-50 mins) The proposed agenda items are covered
