Step-by-step:
- Open your IRC client
- Type: /attach freenode

- Type: /join #geoserver
For the time being, the format of the meetings will go as follows:
- (5 mins) Agenda items are proposed
- (5 mins) Each person will say what they worked on the previous week and what they are working on this week
- (20-50 mins) The proposed agenda items are covered
If you cannot attend the whole meeting, please attend for the first 10 minutes so everyone can be updated on your progress.
IRC Clients
Although there are many IRC clients, here we list three that many of the GeoServer developers use:
- Pidgin: a multiplatform, multiprotocol IM with IRC capabilities;
- ChatZilla!: a Firefox plugin and pure IRC client;
- IRC@Work: a pure web based IRC client, that you can use without installing any program, and that allows you to bypass firewall limitations that might exist at your workplace.
- mIRC : A very flexible shareware IRC client for Windows.
