Hi there.  My name is Mike Pumphrey.  I work for OpenGeo, the geospatial division of The Open Planning Project.  My official title is Outreach Engineer, but that's vague enough to keep things interesting.

When not making GIS less daunting for the masses, I play music.  I play bass, keys, and sing in the indie rock band Butterthief, and also play folk music under my own name.  If you like what I do, please tell all of your friends, come to the shows, and become my wealthy benefactor.
